"What is the Backyard show?" The backyard show is a 30 minute program that focuses on the art and science of haitian culture. Each week, we discuss a topic that affects the african Diaspora community at large with guests who excel in the subject debated. The objective of the show is to educate the viewers on the contributions that individuals of haitian descent have made in today's world. With visual inserts that illustrate their debate, a thorough documentation is brought forth to bring well researched information to the audience. History The Backyard show debuted on Saturday June 2nd 2007 in celebration of Caribbean Heritage month. In order to server the growing immigration population of South Florida, it was important to offer a diverse program that could cater to a dynamic people, still rooted to their traditional lifestyle.All information is ultimately caribbean. Haitians represent the fastest growing caribbean population in the South Florida area (click here for Demographic). Palm Beach, Broward and Miami Dade county residents are interested in what is going on in every aspect of haitian culture and will be able to do viewa show that lets its guests express their opinions freely, like they would at their friends backyard. Produced and presented by the multi-talented young Haitian advocate, Nathalie Guillaume, the Backyard show is especially committed to assisting our community's dedicated leaders in making way for the new generation through conversational education.
